We plan to do co-staining for smooth-muscle-actin and a fibroblast marker in paraffin-embedded lung tissue. For SMA we routinely use the mouse 1a4 antibody. In order to distinguish fibroblasts from other cell types (e.g. VSMCs), we would need another fibroblast marker antibody (e.g. vimentin) which is not produced in mouse, but preferably in rabbit or goat. Has anyone experience with an antibody and could recommend it?

Thanks a lot!
