Vero and HepG2 cell line DMEM low glucose?

Dear Research Gate scientists

I have both Vero and HepG2 cell lines growing in flasks using high-glucose DMEM media. Can I switch to low-glucose DMEM for the next passage, or should the media be changed gradually?
