Hi,

I am attempting to simulate the effect of adding multiple receiving antennae for Equal Gain Combining (EGC) diversity scheme in MATLAB. I am using QPSK modulation for the simulation. I find that the 'berfading' command does not give correct ideal curve, probably because 'berfading' assumes a different diversity scheme. So I want the ideal curves for different number of receivers (upto 7). I have seen closed form expressions for probability of error for two and three receive antennae in a paper by Zhang [1], but I need it for higher orders. Also the expression seems to be for BPSK. Is there any rule of thumb or method I can follow to get the ideal curves?
