Dear fellows I am working on HPLC and run sample (mixture of 5 compounds) all were detected perfectly, but I am getting unwanted negative peaks at 2 mins after run? Can anyone figureout the issue? My LC conditions are, Flow = 1.5 ml/min, Acetonitirle = 75%, water = 25%, oven temp. 40 oC. Need to fix it badly, help me please! Thanking in advance!

Hi Zaheer,
This negative peak looks like an injection peak. What type of detector are you using? If it is a DAD (or PDA), you can check the online UV spectrum of the negative peak. This peak should not disturb your analysis. Please try to inject a more concentrated sample.
