What are the default units of luminous power of led in silvaco tcad? Is it watt/cm or only watt? In first example of LED ledex_01.in the units of luminous power have been written in .setfile as watt/cm which also appears in plot and no conversion for watt to watt/cm has been done in set file; whereas in tonyplot the units of luminous power are watt not watt/cm. Which one is correct?

When making two dimensional simulations of a LED it is assumed that the depth of the device is 1cm. So , giving the emitted light as xx watt/cm means that the depth of the device is assumed 1cm. If one defines the depth of the devices then one just multiplies xx watt/cm times the depth in cm, one gets the power emitted from the specific diode with a known width and depth. The thickness represents the cross section of the diode.
