I have TDR file, which contains binary data that can be read using Svisual, a tool from Synopsys Sentaurus tool collection. I want to extract the vector and/or scaler fields such as Temperature scalar field, or electric vector field and plot it elsewhere (such as matplotlib)
Is there a way?!
Ali Hauadef, you can extract data from line cutting, for both vector and scalar field. But it will be line graph.

Actually yes, I did find a workaround for scalar fields, which consists of making multiple cuts win one direction, then filling a third column manually according to the spacing between the cuts, which is not idea.
In addition, in vector fields, that is totally impossible.
TDR files are based on HDF5. It is possible to reverse engineer the data stored in the file. HDF viewers are available to help you in the decoding process. There are HDF5 modules available for the Python scripting language you can use to extract the data.
