I am now trying to develop genetic systems for a bacterium, however it is pretty difficult to get DNA inside them somehow... I read the following article on Ultrasound mediated DNA (and RNA) transfer into bacteria:

They say the method (in their case) is a lot more effective than electroporation and conjugation but I didn't find any other reference who is doing this for bacteria.. anybody have experience with this? Also on eukaryotes, I just want to have a feeling what I should watch out for.
