Hi,

I am doing sirius red staining and having hard time trouble shooting dark spots on tissues.

Tissue type- Formalin fixed, paraffin embedded mouse liver tissue (mouse on both Western diet and Normal diet).

Sirius red staining kit- Picro- Sirius red Stain Kit from American Mastertech Scientific.

*Issue - I am getting these dark purple spot on the tissues. Please find the images for reference.

*Trouble shooting- So far I tried filtering the stain using 0.2um filter, cleaning all the jars with bleach, tried to avoid any possible contamination.

Please help me to resolve this issue.
