Dear Natalia, in extension of what Luis already mentioned; positive staining for TH means that you have other DA-ergic, NA-ergic neurons, or both. An absence of DBH indicates you have truly DA-ergic neurons. As Luis already indicated, many researchers resort to showing TH+ staining alone but in conjunction with anatomical location for specificity. Good luck!
