Hello everyone. I want to simulate heat transfer in cement Kiln and to analyze different modes of heat transfer including convection , conduction and radiation. I know ABAQUS is capable of modelling heat transfer but most people prefers ANSYS for heat transfer analysis.
And if ABAQUS is capable of modelling heat transfer then do i not any subroutine. Thankyou for your time

Use Ansys Workbench heat transfer modules . Also, Ansys has bought the Abaqus Software, and it is included in last few versions. Best of Luck
To analyse the heat transfer in cement kiln the ANSYS is the better one software for the analysis.
In ANSYS Use Static structure module for the Cement kiln.
Ansys because it has more flexibility with coupled simulations.
Personally I will use OpenFOAM for such kind of analysis.
