Importance of “Time Factor” in Impact calculation/evaluation of Research studies.

Most of the time by evaluation of knowledge it become difficult to figure out the actual need, demand & importance of some research study with reference to time of its occurring. Also the current impact available is based on citation & discussion only. Very few journals are dealing with its worth with reference of time to that era, generation, need etc.

Its proposed that the model of impact calculation must calculate the effective time, long lasting time, demand of era, geographical focus, probability of occurrence of such research, difficulty level & any other parameters helpful to make the impact evaluation more practical, time saving for reader and for more deep understanding of research studies to make more user friendly by creating easiness in selection of knowledge & also its good kind of record keeping for future generations.

The question is that do we need such model to be adopted or we are satisfied with ongoing patterns?
