I want to simulate a transient three-phase flow in porous media (paper) considering capillary action. The porous zone is initially filled with air. I want to model the displacement of air with two liquids (water and glycerin, both wetting and can mix each other) due to capillary forces. My main interest is the degree of wetting and the spreading of the wetting front. How to model capillary effects in the porous zone? I did a two-phase simulation using the Corey brooks model, but for the three-phase, no such model is available. The Corey extended model is available for three-phase ( wetting and non-wetting phase). Is any CFD example model available?
