I have a 0.25mM thick gel and I am having trouble cleaning out the wells to ensure constant sample application. I usually use a thin syringe to get into the wells and rinse them out with running buffer and to get rid of excess acrylamide but this gel is too thin for the syringe. When I load my sample it is very uneven and sometimes is not able to enter the well despite me rinsing the wells out with a pipette before hand. Some samples where the well was already good enough were able to be loaded uniformly and no problem. Is there a way to get into the wells and clean them out with such as thin gel? I know DNA sequencing gels are also very thin so I would imagine this has to be problem with a solution. Thank you!
