Junk publishers: The least you would expect of a journal trying to promote its product is to search the background of those invited to contribute or become editors.

However, many junk advertisers send a wild card to names on a list of authors without even filtering or grouping them. The result is usually a stupid message such as (Respected Dr ... in light of your publications (ironically ""antenna focused"") we would like to invite you to become an editor for a our peer reviewed ""material science""" journal).. hhhhh

when will this junk practice stop falling into our emails. I find it a very annoying academic spam.... do you 🙃??
