Recently I have been learning about the eMTC physical layer. I see that on the 3GPP R13 protocol, MPDCCH and PDSCH(for eMTC users) can be replicated to achieve enhanced coverage. One question I have is that when there are multiple eMTC users, their channel conditions are different, resulting in different repeats of MPDCCH and PDSCH. In this case, Should a Narrowband (6PRB) given to eMTC users send MPDCCH to all users first and then to all users' MPDCCH?
I think this situation may cause a waste of resources. It is also possible that a single band for eMTC users could be made to make MPDCCH and PDSCH reusable in time domain. In this case, however, the base station may require a large number of signals for dynamic scheduling.
I would be very grateful if anyone had any information.
