Just want to know if I can just cite directly the author instead of asking permission though the research instrument is marked "PERMISSION FROM THE AUTHOR IS REQUIRED IF THIS INSTRUMENT IS REPRODUCED" THANKS.
Credibility and scientific rigor require that permission is taken when reproducing any scientific subject.
It's better to ignore and move on to read another manuscript.
