In general, there will not be much effect of room temperature on FDM material, but as a part of FDM equipment maintenance, we generally keep them in controlled environment. Its good practice not to put the fresh 3D printed part in ultrasonic tank for support desolation, wait for  them  to attain room temp.  

The temp effect will be major influencing factor for wax material and must be controlled appropriately as per OEM instructions.

Hello, have you tried to reduce the extrusion temperature? I improved the results by reducing the temperature to 180 C. I am using a cold platform adding a thin layer of hair spray before printing  to increase the adherence of the first layer. Under this conditions I didn´t experience any effect of the room temperature on the quality of the printed pieces.

May be you could add some pictures of your set up to illustrate the  problem.

If you have a machine from Stratasys Dimension Elite also FDM system then the problem with the temperature does not exist.

Almost all home FDM systems have this problem, depending on who is producer of.

So it must be that explores that temperatures are optimal.

Have you considered the CAD design quality and material supplier as potential source for printing problems rather than 3D printing parameters? We have observed that using same parameter for different PLA sources will end up in different results when PLA source is different. Drop me note to explain in detail. We have started a study which investigate this problem. 

Hi there, Yes we have consider the design its a simple flat design for a robotic arm but these problems occur as our 3D printer is in a air conditioned room.
