I have a coplanar GSGSG electrode configuration in a device, which needs a termination resistor (R) added. I have tow possible configurations in my mind on how to add these resistors.

Attached here is the layout which shows the coplanar electrodes. Since there are three G terminals w.r.t probe, how are the termination resistors (red) connected?

In the image, two configurations A and B are illustrated. A has a floating ground node at the center. In B, all the G terminals are mutually connected. Neither of them have a separate ground plane defined. Is this a right interpretation of terminations for the probes?
