I wish to synthesize silver nanoparticles of size ranging from 100-500 nm but I couldn't find any good methods to synthesize bigger size nanoparticles. Can anyone suggest some methods or give any reference to synthesis bigger silver NPs?
Several of the methods used for nano particles will yield higher mean sizes if firing are sustained longer at higher temperatures (sol-gels in particular). Check out the attached conclusions from an in-press manuscript that attempted to show easy preparation of low diameter nanoparticles but resulted in larger particles to be formed for some clues on preparation.
