According to the cited article below “Chitosan nanoparticles were produced by ionic gelation method through the reaction of chitosan and TPP. Previous studies on chitosan nanoparticles showed that the chitosan concentration, the ratio of chitosan to TPP and pH of the solution had affected the particle size and surface loadings.
