Hello everyone
I am trying to simulate a structure in Abaqus-Hypermesh insterface, considering the half of the model due to a symmetry. The model is in 3D and I'd like to know how can I acquire the results of the full model while dealing with the half model? It's a linear static analysis and the structure is to be studied under the weight of a Component whose mass center is exactly on the plane of symmetry. Employing the Element RBE3, the Mass is associated to another component which is acting as a support. The point here is that I have to, in a way, make the software understand that the Mass is supported also by the same component on the symmetry portion.
It is worth mentioning that I utilized the "Symmetry" commnad in hyperview while doing the post-processing, howevere the resutls are not satisfactory at all.
I know it got a little bit long, but I wanted to be clear on the issue I am facing.
