I think traditional deep learning would be a better choice for an MSC dissertation if you have no prior experience with reinforcement learning. I recommend explainable deep learning and the topics Rahul mentioned. Good luck Chidiebere Somadina Ike

I consider that you should first investigate any problem in your city, your country or the world, and based on this, look for papers related to the topic and that use artificial intelligence. Then you can implement an AI algorithm that has not been applied to that problem. For example, you could apply reinforced learning in the chosen problem.
It is important that the problem you choose is of interest to you, as this will help to keep you motivated.

You can work on image segmentation or classification task with help of deep learning algorithms.
I think the basics of machine learning would be a better choice for an MSC dissertation in case you don't carry any prior experience. I recommend it as I am also in the process to learn it.
