There are two PCR methods, qPCR and ddPCR for the detection of a marker BCR-ABL for CML. Conventionally, BCR-ABL is detected using qPCR. The hypothesis is that qPCR is able to detect the increase in level of the marker usually after 6 months of its start to rise. While, the ddPCR would be able to detect it earlier than qPCR, likely to detect 3 months earlier the qPCR. It is likely to happen because the ddPCR is supposed to be more sensitive to detect minute increment in BCR-ABL.
Request to suggest the method to validate the ddPCR method to conclude that it will detect the change 3 months earlier than qPCR?
