We are doing an experiment measuring gut barrier integrity and we need to measure the amount of FITC dextran present in plasma.

One batch of mice have been processed but there is another three weeks before the next batch will be done, and we need to run the assay for all the samples at the same time.

Will storing the plasma from the first batch at -80C for three weeks affect the fluorescence at all?
