Hi ALL,
Does anyone have experience on steady-state heat transfer problem using Fluent? I just have a cubic domain with a flux boundary condition on the left face and a constant temperature boundary condition on the right face. The boundary conditions are applied by Wall boundary. However, after calculation, I got unexpected temperature values at some points on the right boundary. It seems that Fluent did not impose the temperature boundary condition correctly. Is there anything wrong?

Check all the parameters interred, like materials properties, and the initial conditions. If everything is right, try to change the values of the parameters or try to use very simple geometry with low mesh.
Are you sure that your calculation is fully converged?
Maybe the convergence criteria are not appropriate in terms of the real physics of the problem.
Try reducing the order of magnitude of the residuals and let the calculation continue in iterating.
