Hi everyone,
Which soil model is appropriate for earthquake analysis of pile foundation in Plaxis 3D? I am going to compare the deformation of piles and soils from different earthquakes , can anyone suggest?
I thought that UCB3D-PLM might be useful for my analysis, unfortunately, I am not considering liquefaction . Is this model is useful also for drained condition in cohesion less soil?

For dynamic analysis in Plaxis, it is suggested to use Mohr- Columb soil model because it is simple and requires limited parameters .
I have the same question, because you asked in 2018, can you please tell me which model did you use?
