am trying to make a boxplot with R (with ggplot package) but I do not know how insert letters or asterisks to show the significant difference.can any one help me please.

When I have done this in the past, I tend to create a second dataframe with the labels for the boxplots and then add them as another layer in the plot. For Example:

## a toy dataset, since I don't have your data
data(corn)
## a boxplot of the data

I do not know which test you desire and how many factors are there in 'label' variable. Here is a short script you may try for two labels and t-tes.
