Politicians have created policies that have killed more people than handguns.
The current social flavor of the month policy is to use a legal theory that the weapon kills, therefore ban it.
However, when that legal theory is applied to politics, which has weaponize the FBI, CIA, DOJ, Kingdoms, and MI6, Mossad, then it is clearly a false argument with a double standard applied.
If the weapon of politics killed Ukrainians, Vietnamese, Cambodians, US military, Germans, British, and humans from all parts of the world, and if political military industrial complex use tax dollars to build weaponry to kill, invade, pillage resources and enslave the population, then indeed politicians should be required to pass background check, be registered and be subject to a review process by the citizens, otherwise the folly of gun control is mere tyranny masked by the criminal enterprise itself.
