I need to report the internal consistency of my pretest and posttest, and I have three experimental and three control groups who took both tests. Can I enter the data of all participants who took part in, for example, the pretest and run the analysis on them altogether, or should I do it separately on each group? If the latter is the case, how can I report only one reliability for each test? I'm using SPSS.
Reliability is to report the variability of the scores in the respondents at a given time, I think it can inform in a general way one in the pre-test and another in the post-test.
You can join the data for analysis like this. Model the pre-intervention data by ARIMA method and use the model to forecast the post-intervention values. Model the difference between post-intervention data and forecasts to have the intervention transfer function. Significance of the intervention model tantamounts to adequacy of the model.
You need one large table with all of the data so that you can make all possible comparisons
