Hello. We are trying to induce shoot from callus. For the early stage of the shoot induction, we transferred our callus onto the shoot induction medium. We are using Petri dishes at the moment.

1) we put the Petri dishes under light condition (16h/8h). Unfortunately, it causes trouble with a lot of vapour. I am afraid it will cause contamination.

2) Do we need to flip the petri dish to avoid 'wet condition' on the petri dish lid? I was thinking about the effects of gravity on the induced shoot
