Hello,

I am posting to see if anyone may be interested in sharing lab costs for submitting samples to be DNA barcoded in Guelph at the Canadian Centre for DNA Bardcoding? I am wishing to submit low DNA concentration samples (e.g. 1-20 ng/uL) obtained from passerine/perching bird fecal material. I want to have them amplified and sequenced for plant (ITS) and insect (ZBJ) barcode regions to identify bird diet items.

If you have DNA samples of low concentration and/or derived from stool/bird fecal samples and are interested in having them analyzed for plant (ITS) and insect (ZBJ) barcode regions, please get in touch to see whether we could pool our submissions and share the lab costs proportionally.

Thanks for your time,

Chris
