I want to determine prey items from bird (passerine) feces using DNA barcoding. Can you suggest how best to store samples in the tropics for 1 yr?

Fecal samples collected during handling procedures. Prey remains will include insect parts, seed cases, and fruit fibres. Access to freezer space is limited.
