The most usual was is to insert in your text chemical equations as figures imported from a more specific software tool (there are many of those). Regarding a Journal dealing with that... I am not sure. Check Journal of Chemoinformatics, it might be related with your interest.

The example regarding the entering of chemical information was just an example. I know Latex (and I am using it).

There are specific drawing programs (for instance, Chewdraw or Conquest) that allow you to draw in 2D, on your terminal, any chemical structure and converts it into a compound formula, a 3D structure, and/or a IUPAC chemical name. It can even be used to search in databases or as input for computational and simulation programs.

Please add our MedChem Designer software to the set of (free) chemical drawing tools.

I guess your question is confusing. What you mean -if i understand well- is designing a "TEXTING" tool..This is not related to natural science or chemistry by any mean..So, you shouldn't look into physics or chemistry Journals..

If you need a way to develop a software to handle chemical or physical problems, don't start with papers, go directly to text books and there are many..Papers usually have a truncated concepts and always written by some one who see them as the "BEST OF THE BEST" otherwise he will not bother himself writing...
