I have received the following output based on my research, which looks at a parallel mediation model with 2 mediators. There is a significant total indirect effect, but both the individual indirect effects are not significant. How can this arise? Is it true that this may be due to correlation between the mediators and is it true that it can be determined whether this is the case by repeating the analysis with only 1 mediator included, by checking whether the total indirect effects are not significant? Thank you very much!
