SCID mice genotyping with new primers from Jackson??

Has anyone did the gentoyping of CBySmn.CB17-Prkdcscid/J SCID mice from Jackson? As per their new genotyping protocol, their primers have been changed. New primer set includes FAM and NHS ester tag included wild type and mutant primers in addition to forward and reverse primers. I wonder if I need to use qPCR set up for them?
