I do believe that RNA viruses are mutating to evade our immune responses and resist to such a drug. Coronaviruses generally mutate shower than other RNA viruses due to own a proofreading activity encodes in their genome that potentially corrects any misleading nucleotide, and by the way some mutations may hinder vaccine efficacy.
