Would schwannoma cell line show different levels of S100-beta proteins depending on their stage of differentation? or are they terminally differentiated already so no matter how you treat them (chemically), you wouldn't expect any changes to their S100-beta protein levels? Would only immature embryonic or postnatal schwann cells show different levels of S100? Once they are mature (like commercially available Schwann cell lines), they are just S100 positive, but you wouldn't be able to produce any meaningful data by culturing them differently?

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
