I would like to purchase or piece together a roller mill for sample homogenization. We process thousands of fish and other marine life samples, and we need to process them to a fine powder. I would like a mill that can accomodate dozens of samples overnight so that all we have to do is fill the roller mill vials, add beads or other homogenizing media, leave them for a day or two, then collect the sample and clean the vials.

Does anyone have suggestions for an off-the-shelf model or a simple way to build this? I have found roller mills and I am thinking of constructing vials from stainless steel tubing and end caps. But, if anyone else has been down this road before and has suggestions, I would appreciate any help. Thanks!
