Hello. Please teach me appropriateness and/or any example (of article) for the following question; I have data-set on ancient ceramic color in terms of Munsell color.
To facilitate the data for patterning, I will change them into RGB data.
However, on archaeology articles in general, is RGB data available for ceramic color?
Still I have only read the articles by Munsell color.

The Munsell color system of hue, saturation, & brightness probably more closely mirrors the mental processes of color perception, so it's probably a more helpful coding system when trying to understand people (including ceramics in archaeology). Hi Kevin! Thank you so much for your help! Meanwhile RGB is very useful tool for making pattern, but it's for light; Munsell is for things. Also, generally archaeological papers have been written by Munsell color system. Furthermore, the Musell color system is for soil colors ( I could not find converter from "full" Munsell Soil colors into RGB) Certainly recent technology to check the color like this, it may be via RGB though. Thus, I hesitate RGB is appropriate to achieve my objects.
