I'm talking to my students (due to necessity) about how it's important that they don't make sexual comments about their female lecturers' appearance. As they're learning psychology I'd like to turn it into a learning experience and talk a little about how female professors are judged differently to their male counterparts in student feedback (appearance related or not).
I can find a lot of grey literature about this, but I'm struggling to find academic papers. Does anyone have any links?

It is very interesting that you bring up this topic. I have also found a big difference in the way a lecturer or tutor is perceived or treated of they are of a different race to the student, especially if from a minority group. I have also found surprisingly little literature on this topic.
