My client was diagnosed with hypertension for which Olmat H 40 (diuretic and vasodilator) & Rozat 10 (LDL lowering) have been the prescription. His pulse rate and blood pressure at rest measured in sitting posture before and after consuming these medications (from March 2016) have been shown in this attached file. How to interpret these findings?

Before your question can be addresed, would you kindly define "peak systolic" ( second column) and "basal systolic" pressure (last column). Did you actually mean systolic and diastolic pressure, as it would apear to me?

I fully agree with Dr. Parth Shah: we can not conclude a lot from these small numbers of BP and HR measurements. In some cases we observe HR acceleration after vasodilators and in some cases we observe increase of HR variability.
I agree with Dr. Shah: besides for the fact that you can hardly conclude anything from two measurements after 4 months of taking the medication, the heart rate can not necessarily has to be related to a stabilized blood pressure.
Thank you for sharing your article with me. As regards the trreatment effects in your patient, it appears that there has been a very nice response. I would concur with the formers responders: one cannot rely too much on heart rate in this setting. Multiple measurements, collected in the form of home measurements or multiple clinic visits over time could be helpful. Of course. 24h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring is the best tool, but in light of the good results already attained, this may not be really important in your patient at the present time.
What will happen to the pressure in the ball (image shown) with four different types of pumping mechanics? Can it be related with heart rate and blood pressure, so that the influence of heart rate and strength of cardiac contraction be seriously taken into account in understanding individual-specific blood pressure?
The patient may be well treated by the medications according to the optimal BP response. However, it is impossible to make sure the relationship between the BP and PR changes by the limited data. Many factors such as white-coat effect may affect the PR values. I suggest BP and PR records at home after education for standard BP measurement.
