Regulation of pH medium with buffer solution

Hello. I am trying to adjust the pH of a bacterial culture medium in order to test the pH range my bacterial isolates can tolerate. I am going to use (Na2HPO4/NaH2PO4) buffer for pH (5–8), and (NaHCO3/NaOH) buffer for pH (9–11), Could anyone help me with the whole procedure. which buffering capacity for each buffer I should go with? how much buffer i must add to the medium To achieve the desired value? Should I add the buffer after autoclaving or before?
