Currently working on the nutritional profile of the seed proteins of Hyptis spicigera as a global public good, I am looking for the following analytical services:
1. extraction the total seed proteins;
2. separation of the constituent proteins by sequential precipitation under a range of pH buffers, as described by Aguirre et al. (2012)* for the related species H. suavolens;
3. purification of the constituent proteins, with a buffer change to non-Tris (e.g. PBS) buffers, whereupon the amino acid profile of each constituent protein can be determined by AQC derivatization.
Thanks,
Eliot
