A certain protocol we have developed requires the use of a Rocker/Rocking Shaker in which our dishes with cells are maintained in the incubator. The rocking is essential to the protocol but we have been struggling as our rockers keep malfunctioning and stoping without warning. This used to happen to us with our orbital shakers but was quickly resolved as soon as we switched to "CO2 resistant" orbital shakers. I suspect the CO2/high humidity environment is messing with the rocker mechanism but I am unable to find any model vetted to work inside incubators. Does anyone know of any we could use?
