The protein expression facility at The University of Queensland, in Australia has amazing facility for expression of proteins in bacteria, yeast, insect cells and mammalian cells. Thanks Alemu! I will consider your suggestion. I am in the United States and importation of organisms produced outside the country can be a problem, though perhaps UQ has ways of smoothing shipments.

According to my experience, yeast expression is a good system, you can choose  S. cereviseae system with pYES/CT plasmid with His tag.You can go for Pichia system as well. The advantage of Pichia expression is you allow yeast to secrete and purify the recombinant protein from culture supernatant. If you are working on Eukaryotic proteins which require any post translational modification, I would go for the yeast expression system. Good luck

We have had only about 30% success rate with expression in Pichia. We need to use a contract lab, as I do not have staff that I can assign for this project. I was hoping some folks would have a suggestion for a good lab to do these recombinant protein expressions for us.
