Is it possible for isoprenoid genes (fragrance, aroma, scent) to be expressed in kluyveromyces genes? Hopefully, I can get positive feedback from scientific communities who have expertise in recombinant protein expression especially in kluyveromyces lactis or simply known as k. lactis.
If it is fragrance, aroma, scent then the first thing to do is to develope a technique how to capture the product because it will be flying away from any medium and you might express it but cannot see it in medium except smelling it.
Is it possible to detect the product by using gcms without the attachment of spme or headspace?.I think it is difficult to detect the fragrance smell by using our own nose because this kind of fragrant smell has a very low volatile gas in order to determine which fragrance smell belongs to any specific product tested.
