HOW TO USE THE “METHODS” GROUP:

Firstly, thanks to everyone for joining this group. The common interests in discussions about methods is reflected with the highest member numbers in “researchgate” at the moment.

However, with reaching this critical number of members few problems arise.

Thus this thread should give an overview how to post threads/topics and group messages.

TOPICS/THREADS:

So far we had the problem that redundant topics have been started, e.g. about ELISA , PCR, etc.

Threads have been moved together with common topics to avoid redundancy and this will also allow members to find topics easier due to less numbers. Sorry in advance if you can't find your last thread posted. Please search in the appriopiate topic (at the moment less than 40)

--- So please check first if a topic for your thread already exists before starting a new one ---

--- Please don't misuse this group for anything else than methods discussions (no spam, conference invitation, political threads, etc.) ---

--- When you post a new thread, please make sure that the title provides information on the topic, and avoid general titles like "hi there" -you'll get your answers faster this way, and it will make it easier for people who are looking for information on a similar topic to yours ---

GROUP MESSAGES:

NO group messages will be forwarded to members. Polls in the past year(s) have shown that this is not wanted by the group. Further, despite clear instructions, people sent messages of lesser importance to the group.

These will be from now on deleted. Sorry for this.

Thanks for your time. Enjoy this group and I hope you get help with your questions or have productive discussions.

All the best,

Axel
