I recently found a new DNA ladder assay

I have tried it, but the results seem more like dna degradation (blurry phantom) than apoptotic fragmentation (ladder). I looked at the citations that this paper has and they do not actually get a good  ladder either, but they consider their results show dna fragmentation. Has anyone got actually a "ladder" on thier experiments using this protocol?
