Since your interest lies in studying endocrine hormone dependent tumors, you should study the signalling mechanism that involves binding of the hormone to its receptors and its downstream pathways. Ideally if you find a way to inhibit the endocrine hormone from binding to its receptor then the tumor growth will be inhibited.
