Yes I agree with you opinion. But when u prapare an article and there is no reply, your effort and quality for your reasearch is not seen by other researchers.

I know, it's disappointing. They need to reply within a reasonable time period and there should be at least two reviews. Perhaps email for an update or sometimes you can check online for a progress report. Or even ring them lol. I've always had good service with the Royal Society here in New Zealand and with Ecography in Norway. But those are the only ones I have dealt with :)
